Launching of OnLine Validation of Motor Vehicle Data for the issuance of Coc-Tpl
The Land Transportation Office starting Sept, 1, 2023 will purge all erroneous motor vehicle data’s in their system.
All invalid files will be corrected and to ensure that all vehicle data encoded in the required Coc-Tpl insurance policies, it is now mandatory to have your motor vehicle file electronically validated prior to purchasing an insurance policy.
This is an effort of the agency to protect car owners from being issued an insurance policy with defective or erroneous motor vehicle which could result in non-coverage in case you are involved in an accident.
All invalid files will be corrected and to ensure that all vehicle data encoded in the required Coc-Tpl insurance policies are correct & accurate.
